A sub ohm tank is a category of vape atomizers. The term “sub ohm” translates to less than one ohm. In short, sub ohm tanks are atomizers having resistance levels of 0.1 – 1 ohm. A lower resistance level leads to increased vapor production which is in line with the needs and interests of today’s vapers. Sub ohm tanks differ from rebuildable atomizers because they use pre-installed coils. This means that vapers who purchase sub ohm tanks do not need to create coil builds as opposed to other atomizers (RDA/RTA). While this offers less customization, many vapers prefer tanks because of the convenience they offer with the pre-installed coils. Vapers often have both tanks and rebuildable atomizers in their collection. We strongly recommend pairing tanks with variable voltage mods because the pre-installed coils require a certain power output.
