Pod vaping is going to be the next big thing. Some people will still go for the more powerful hardware, but we’re going to see a shift into smaller devices that are sleek and compact. So what is pod vaping?

WHAT ARE POD VAPES AND WHAT IS POD VAPING?

Pod vapes/kits are lightweight, compact looking devices. It has two components: a battery, and the e-juice pod. They are similar to e-cigarettes, but easier to use and with a longer durability. Pod vaping is ideal for smokers making the switch to vaping. Instead of having to learn how to use high wattage mods, coils, tanks, RDAs, etc., they can simply use a pod kit and just buy e-juice pods.
Even if you are into building, cloud and flavor chasing, it is ideal to have a pod kit handy for when you’re on the go.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN POD VAPING AND REGULAR VAPING?

There are some huge differences between the two. Pod vaping is meant to be easy, on-the-go, and inexpensive. Regular vaping is more difficult to learn, a bit expensive, and it’s more for flavor and cloud chasing opposed to just used to wean off nicotine.

PROS OF POD VAPING

• Inexpensive: Most kits cost between $30-50. Pod refill price varies on the brand, but they’re usually not expensive.
• Easy to use: All you need to do is buy a pod kit, which usually comes with everything you need, pop on the pod and start vaping!
• Discreet, and easy to carry: Pod kits are usually compact and discreet. Which makes them easy to carry around and to travel with. You won’t need to lug around your mod and e-juices.

CONS OF POD VAPING

• Limited selection of e-juice flavors: Companies who manufacture pod kits typically have a limited selection of pod flavors. For example, Juul only has mango, cool mint, tobacco, fruit medley, and creme brulee. BUT there are pod kits out there that have reusable pods, so you are able to fill the pods with your favorite e-liquid.
• No cloud production: Vapers love to blow big clouds, and do vape tricks. Well with pod vaping that is not possible. The cloud production is very minimal, it’s more about vaping nicotine and flavor rather than cloud production.
• Battery Life: Pod kits are typically small, they aren’t going to be as powerful as your 200W mod. This means your battery life is decreased from what you are typically used to. Pod devices may die quicker, depending on how often you use them, but on the bright side they charge fast!

As you can see, the pros and cons are fairly equal. It really just depends on what kind of vape experience you want. If you want something simple, and more of a nicotine hit then pod kits are for you. If you prefer trying different e-juice flavors, cloud chasing, building, then regular vaping is for you! Who says you have to limit yourself though? You can vape on a daily basis, and pod vape when you’re traveling or on the go.
