How to Save Money While Vaping

While vaping isn't that expensive, it can be if you go through a large amount of e-juice every month and frequently find yourself picking up the latest vape mods. Fortunately, there are quite a few ways that you can cut down your monthly vape supply bill. Here are the best tips on saving money while you vape:

Stick to one vape

It's always fun to buy some new parts and customize your vape exactly how you want it, but this can also cost you quite a bit of money. If you’ve been spending too much, you need to start considering what you need to vape, instead of what you want. Every vape pen and mod is designed to last for years to come, so if you already have one, you don’t need to spend money on upgrades.

If you are getting a new vape, get a full kit instead of buying everything piece by piece. You save when you buy either a vape pen starter kit with juice or a full mod kit.

Shop online

While supporting local businesses is a worthy cause, you can usually get the best deals by going online, as there are several great vape shop websites. You get especially low prices when you buy products wholesale. When you go online, make sure to take a look at the clearance or sale area of the site to see if you can save some more money.

Make coils and e-juice by yourself

It's a bit of extra work to make your own coils and e-juice, but neither is that difficult. A coil usually costs about $4, or you could just get a wire spool for the same price plus some cotton and you'll have the supplies to make coils for months, if not years. You just wrap the wire and insert the cotton to make a coil.
Making e-juice is just as simple. You’re mixing a base with flavoring and nicotine, if you want any. Instead of a milliliter of e-juice costing you 30 cents or more, it’ll be costing you a few pennies.
You can find guides and tutorial videos to make coils and e-juice online.

Buy in bulk

If you aren't making your own e-juice, then it’s best to buy it in bulk. This may mean just buying the largest size that’s available, or you could buy a large quantity of e-juice from an online wholesaler. Resist the temptation to buy a bunch of different e-juices because you want to try every flavor under the sun. There are plenty of quality e-juices out there, but when you want to save, it pays to stick with one of them. Go with the largest size bottle that your store of choice offers, which will typically be either 100 milliliters or 120 milliliters.

Watch out for Giveaways

One of the coolest things about the vaping community is the number of free products that manufacturers and other vapers give away. A manufacturer could announce a free giveaway on its site or its social media accounts. Keep an eye out on vaping sites and YouTube vape review videos, as you never know when you’ll hear about a giveaway where you can score something for free.

Track Deals

There are vaping deals online almost every day. While you'd never be able to keep up with every day yourself, you don't need to when you subscribe to the right RSS feeds and email lists. Make sure you check your notifications frequently, as the best deals don't last very long.
You don't need to spend a lot of money to vape. There are starter kits available for $60 or less, and you can make yourself all the e-juice and coils you need for under $10 per month. Even if you don’t make your own supplies, taking advantage of deals can keep your costs low every month.
